Phyllis, mother of Leslie Russell, is the Foundation’s Board Chair and Executive President. The foundation was created and developed by Phyllis as a way of continuing Leslie’s legacy of giving to others as they walk their cancer journey.

She has many years of experience in marketing and business development with BJC and Bristol Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals. Phyllis served in a leadership capacity for over 7 years in the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Inc. and was president of the chapter for 2 additional years presiding over 300 plus financial members.

The Honorable Judge Gloria Clark Reno served for more than 20 years as a judge in the 21st judicial circuit in St. Louis County Missouri . She also served as a presiding judge during her tenure.

Jazmyn Ferguson is a J.D. Candidate at Notre Dame. She is a passionate and purpose-driven community leader committed to empowering women and girls to lead.

Pat Thomas is a retired Director of Patient Accounts for BJC. She has over 20 years of experience overseeing all functions of inpatient and outpatient billing.

Lori Johnson is a well respected entrepreneur of St. Louis and owns "A Caring Heart", a successful home health agency. She knew Leslie, and is excited to be a part of the success of Leslie's Haven

John McCain is the owner and CEO of M3Greek and has experience in business and marketing.

Carolyn Pryor Shurn M.D. is a board certified OB/GYN with over 30 years of clinical experience in patient care. She currently serves as Medical Director of Maternal Services for SSM Health St. Louis and Medical Director of the OB Care Center at SSM Health DePaul Hospital St. Louis.

David Wilson is a business owner and CEO of Wilson Tree Services and currently services St. Louis County and cities in Illinois.

Ciara Russell is a corporate event planner who has experience in planning major events and conventions. Her experience as a planner, will give the foundation access to a large network of potential donors and sponsors.
